Calling for late breaking abstracts with novel/exciting findings!
All participants are invited to submit abstracts for a poster presentation in the final program. An abstract should be sent in English or Spanish/Portuguese. Please note that abstracts submitted in Spanish/Portuguese will not be included in the Abstract Book (published by The Journal of Sexual Medicine). Abstracts can only be submitted electronically. Please note that the deadline for abstract submission cannot be extended due to organizational reasons.
AUTHORS PLEASE NOTE:
- Abstract after scientific approval can be presented only as a POSTER.
To confirm the above possibility, abstract submission/notification should be complied with an ONLINE PAYMENT OF CONGRESS REGISTRATION FEE.
Abstract Submission Deadline: March 21, 2017
Accepted abstracts will be published in the JSM supplement (a digital format) only after completed registration and payment of the congress registration fee and presentation during the WAS 2017 Congress.
Please submit your abstract via this online form.
Authors of late breaking abstracts will be informed of the acceptance of their abstracts by April 4, 2017.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Please follow these instructions carefully. Abstracts not prepared correctly will not be considered for presentation. Corrected abstracts cannot be accepted. Authors will be informed of the acceptance of their abstracts by March 6, 2017.
Submitted abstracts will be graded individually by peer reviewers based on scientific merit and originality. Abstracts must be written in English or Spanish/Portuguese and, if accepted, presented in English or Spanish/Portuguese (there will be no simultaneous translate to English). The WAS Scientific Committee will determine the format of the presentation. The total number of abstracts allowed to be presented by the same author is 3. Accepted abstracts will be assigned for presentation at a podium session or a moderated poster session at the discretion of the WAS scientific Committee. High quality abstracts in select categories may be chosen for presentation on the Symposia Sessions. Abstracts not selected for the Podium or Moderated Poster Session will be considered for presentation as a Poster at the congress. Please check the box if you do NOT wish your abstract to be considered for this option.
Preparation of Abstracts
SIZE
The size of the abstract is limited
to 300 words. The abstract title, names of authors and affiliations are not
included in the word count. Please do not submit any tables or figures in the
abstract.
TITLE
The title should clearly define the
topic and contain no abbreviations. The title should be as succinct as possible, preferably no longer than 10 words.
AUTHORS
All authors names to be included. List the primary author's full name,

typed in upper and lower case and single-spaced without using full-stops.
